UHE Receives NCEAC Approval for BS Computer Science.

Lahore, November 16, 2023: The University of Home Economics has obtained the National Computing Education Accreditation Council’s (NCEAC) approval for offering admissions to its four-year BS Computer Science degree program. The issuance of the No Objection Certificate (NOC) followed a visit by the NCEAC representatives.

During the Council’s visit, Dr. Misbah Jabeen, the Head of the Computer Science Department, provided insights to the delegation. The accompanying team included Ahmed Faraz, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell, Dr. Tayyaba Sohail, Director of Academics, Director of ORIC Dr. Wahab Ali, and other officers.

A ceremony was organized by Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi to mark the release of the BS Computer Science degree. The Vice Chancellor celebrated the occasion by cutting a cake with the Faculty of Computer Science.

Prof. Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi congratulated everyone involved in getting the NOC, emphasizing the importance of delivering quality education to female students in the field of computer science.

She also issued directives to ensure the provision of state-of-the-art facilities in computer labs for an enhanced learning experience.
