Ms. Syeda Aiza Imran

Ms. Aiza has over 4 years of experience in teaching Functional English and Business communication skills to bachelor’s students. She has her M.Phil. in English Language and Literature from LCWU. She has been part of our BS Teaching Faculty since 2020 and is the Focal Person of QEC and Convener Board of Studies for the English Department. She is a published academic writer and has compiled four functional English books for UHE. Her expertise includes Functional English, Soft Skills and Emotional Intelligence as well as Business Communication Skills. She has her research papers presented and is currently engaged in producing more scholarly articles on Post Human Studies. Her area of research focuses on Post Humanism Studies, Disability studies under Medical Humanities in Literature, Psychodynamic study of Post-Colonial Subjectivity, Screen Literature, Theology, and Astro-theology in the context of the South Asian tradition of Mythologies.

Ms. Mashal has been part of the English Department UHE since 2021. She has her M.Phil. in English Language and Literature from LCWU. She has her expertise in Reading and Writing Skills within the domain of Functional English. Her domain includes critical reading Web-script and academic writing. She has presented her research papers at various platforms and is currently engaged in penning more. Her area of research comprises of Philosophy of Aesthetics, Postcolonial textual Interpretations, Politics of religion in Middle Eastern contrapuntal literature, Psychodynamic Textual Deconstruction of literary texts, Translation studies of World Literature.
Ms. Kainat Khalid

PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Ms. Kainat has her M.Phil. in Applied Linguistics from Kinnaird College. She has six years of experience teaching at COMSATS University Lahore and joined the Teaching faculty of UHE in 2022. Other than teaching, she has an active profile in co-curricular activities. She has organized numerous inter-university competitions throughout her career and focuses on the students’ exposure-based learning. She is currently the faculty adviser for Debating and Literary Society UHE. She is also the In-charge of Examination for BS Programs for the department of English and a member of the Library Advisory Committee. Her interests are Research Methodology, Post-Colonial Literature, Bilingualism, and Lexicology
Ms. Sulaim Sarfraz

PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Ms. Sulaim Sarfraz has her M.Phil. in English Literature from The University of Punjab and B.A. Hons from Kinnaird College for Women. She has joined the Teaching faculty of UHE in 2022. She is a scholar of English literature with research publications in international and national academic journals such as Journal of South Texas English Studies, U.S.A. and in the Journal of Research & Reviews in Social Sciences Pakistan. She has considerable experience of supervising thesis and teaching undergraduate English courses at Kinnaird College, NUML and UMT. She has also presented her research papers at various international conferences on her research interests including Ecocriticism, Gender Politics, Ecofeminism and Postcolonial Studies.
Ms. Laiba Butt

PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Ms. Laiba Butt is a gold-medalist from University of the Punjab. She completed her M.Phil. in Applied Linguistics from Kinnaird College for Women in 2021. She has previously been teaching at Lahore College for Women University. She has also served as a content editor at the Governor House, Lahore. She has joined UHE in 2022 and is part of course Development team. She has presented her research in national and international conferences. Her areas of expertise include both qualitative and quantitative research approaches. She is a versatile researcher and scholar in her focal field. Her field of research is based upon Corpus Linguistics, Critical Discourse Analysis, and Sociolinguistics.
