Dr. Aniqa Dilawari Lecturer

Dr. Aniqa D. (Ph.D. in Computer Science) has 10+ years of research experience and notable publications in top journals and conferences. Her area of research includes image/video processing, natural language processing, video retrieval, and artificial intelligence.

She has been actively involved in several significant research projects throughout her career. She has worked at the leading National Center for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI), Intelligent Criminology Lab, under KICS, UET, Lahore. In her role as a researcher, she has led a team of talented researchers, working towards developing AI systems using multimodal data (audio, video, text) to identify crimes, suspects, crowd analytics, and model criminal behavior. Additionally, she has worked on the Automatic Surveillance System for Video Streams (ASSVS) project funded by the National ICT R&D Fund. This project aimed to enhance video surveillance systems using advanced AI algorithms and technologies to detect and analyze suspicious activities in real-time video streams.

With a background in teaching, she has imparted knowledge at FAST-NU, UET-Lahore, and the University of Education.
