The University of Home Economics’ Literary and Debating Society, under the Department of English, has reached a significant milestone by participating in the Punjab Natak Competition.
The Literary Society’s exceptional creation, the Punjabi drama “CHOG KUSAMBEY DI,” demonstrates their unwavering dedication to Punjabi literature.
Under the guidance of Ms. Mashal, In charge of the English Department, and Ms. Pawan Masaud Amna, In charge Media and Communication Studies Department, students participated in competition.
UHE secured the 3rd position, winning a well-deserved prize of 1 lakh rupees.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi congratulated to the students and the entire team for this remarkable achievement, with high hopes for more success in the future.
This historic accomplishment marks a first for UHE, beautifully exemplifying a Punjabi drama on a national platform.
Additionally, UHE acknowledge the invaluable contribution of Sir Sibat e Hassan in directing the drama, whose vision and dedication wad instrumental in securing position.
