Scholarships distributed among 160 female students worth Rs 2 Million at the University of Home Economics:

A ceremony for the distribution of scholarships among female students of the University of Home Economics was held in the seminar hall.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Kanwal Ameen, attended the ceremony as a chief guest. Prof.Dr. Kanwal Ameen distributed scholarships among 160 students.
The University of Home Economics has awarded scholarships worth Rs.2 million.
Addressing the students, Dr. Kanwal Ameen stated that the selection of students from 11 departments of the university was done according to the scholarship policy. The purpose of granting scholarships is to encourage talented students and provide facilities to deserving students.
She further added, the budget for scholarships will be increased by twice the amount in the future so that more students can be benfited.
The Secretary of the Scholarship Committee, Dr. Quratulain, and the Coordinator, Dr. Sameena Zahid, along with other faculty members, also participated in the scholarship distribution ceremony.
