Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Faleeha Kazmi attends Calligraphy Exhibition at Lahore College
The Persian Department of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) hosted a captivating exhibition of calligraphy.
The exhibition, a collective endeavor organized by Ms. Asma Ejaz, a dynamic calligraphy teacher within the Persian department, showcased the exquisite results of a calligraphy competition among Persian students.
The distinguished guest, Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir, Chairperson of the Punjab Higher Education Department, inaugurated the exhibition.
The occasion was graced by the presence of esteemed personalities including Dr. Shagufta Naz, Vice Chancellor of Lahore College for Women University; Mr. Mehran Muwahid Far, Iranian Counsel General in Lahore; Mr. Jaffer Runas, Director General of Iran Culture Centre Lahore; Prof. Dr. Safia Anjum, Principal of Lahore College for Women University; and Ms. Huma Saeed, Controller of Examinations at LCWU.
The event attracted a substantial turnout, with numerous students, Heads of Departments from various faculties, and esteemed faculty members from diverse fields of study exploring the captivating display.
The top three position holders received well-deserved certificates of recognition, and Miss Asma Ejaz was honored with a certificate of appreciation for her dedication to teaching and orchestrating the exhibition.
The ceremony concluded on a high note as Professor Dr. Faleeha Kazmi, Vice Chancellor of Home Economics University and Dean of Islamic and Oriental Learning, presented tokens of appreciation to the esteemed guests.
