Registrar UHE arranges Iftar

Lahore (Wednesday, April 3, 2024): An Iftar gathering was arranged at the University of Home Economics in honor of the Heads of Academic and Administrative Departments, along with notable guests. Mr. Shujaat Muneef Qureshi, the Registrar of UHE arranged and hosted Iftar in his personal capacity.

During the Iftar event, the Qara’a Khawn of Iran captivated the audience with his mesmerizing recitation of the Holy Quran, filling the hearts of all present with spiritual enlightenment through the Qasida Burda Sharif.

Professor Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi expressed her admiration for the Iranian reciters, highlighting their achievements in recitation competitions.

She further emphasized the privilege of experiencing the beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by these talented individuals from Iran, showcasing their remarkable voices and accents.

The gathering served as a platform to celebrate the cultural exchange and spiritual enrichment facilitated by the presence of the Iranian reciters at the University of Home Economics.
