Inclusive Festivities: UHE Acknowledges Christian Employees with Eid and Christmas Joy

Lahore (Monday, December 18, 2023): The University of Home Economics organized a festive gathering to celebrate Christmas and distribute gifts to its Christian employees.

The event, attended by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi, brought together all Christian staff members, teachers, and officers. The festivities included Christmas songs performed by the Salvation Army.

In a gesture of solidarity, Eid gifts were distributed among the 21 Christian employees, and the Vice-Chancellor joined in cutting the Christmas cake to enhance the festive spirit.

During the ceremony, Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi highlighted the valuable contributions of Christians to the development of Pakistan and emphasized the university’s commitment to supporting Christian employees.

She acknowledged the Christian community’s widespread service across various fields and expressed the Muslim community’s shared joy in celebrating with their Christian community.
