Unlocking Internship Opportunities

The Career and Placement Centre, in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Home Economics, organized a session titled “Unlocking Internship Opportunities: A Guide for CS Students to Secure the Right Role” on 22nd April 2025.

The session aimed to equip students with strategies for securing internships aligned with their academic and career goals.

Mr. Waleed Saifi, CEO of Spadasoft, was the guest speaker and shared practical insights on how students can stand out in a competitive job market. Dr. Aniqa Dilawari, Head of the CS Department, emphasized the value of early industry exposure, while Ms. Kainat Khalid, Focal Person of the Career and Placement Centre, played a central role in organizing the event.

The session was well-received, with active student participation and a valuable Q&A segment, making it a successful and empowering experience for all attendees.
