UHE Hosts All Pakistan Inter-Universities Volleyball Championship

The University of Home Economics (UHE) Lahore is honored to host the All Pakistan Inter-Universities Volleyball Championship in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.

A preparatory meeting for this significant event was held at UHE, chaired by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi and organizing secretary Ms. Rabia Karim, the Incharge of Sports at UHE. The meeting was attended by team managers from 15 public and private sector universities.

During the meeting, match draws, the event schedule, and player scrutiny were conducted. Additionally, a protest committee was formed with the consultation of all stakeholders to address any potential complaints during the championship.

Women players from seven universities are participating in this prestigious event: Government College University Lahore, Lahore College for Women University, Kinnaird College, University of Lahore, Superior University, Minhaj University, and the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS).

Teams from other universities, including the University of Karachi, Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan, Aga Khan University Karachi, Government College University (GCU) Sialkot, and Government College University (GCU) Faisalabad, are also participating.

The event is being taking place at Nishtar Sports Complex, Qadafi Stadium, Lahore from 7th June to 10th June.
