In a commendable effort towards enhancing environmental sustainability, the students and faculty members of the Department of Fine Arts recently undertook a successful plantation on the campus. With the invaluable assistance of two dedicated gardeners, a total of 50 Kuchnaar saplings were planted.

Dr. Samina Zaheer, Chairperson of the Department of Fine Arts, expressed her satisfaction with the accomplishment.

She highlighted that this initiative represents a modest yet important step in the broader objective of transforming Lahore into a city that breaks free from the grip of smog.

Dr. Zaheer emphasized that the Department’s commitment to the cause remains steadfast and extends to making further meaningful contributions in the times ahead.

This campus-wide plantation drive not only contributes to the beautification of the university grounds but also aligns with the global call for sustainable practices.
