Minister inaugurates renovated building at UHE

Lahore (Tuesday, July 30, 2024): Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat inaugurated the newly renovated building of the College of Home Economics and Social Sciences which is now open for intermediate students and BS Home Economics.

The event was attended by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi and Senior Journalist Salman Ghani.

In his address, Rana Sikandar Hayat said students will benefit from the addition of new classrooms and faculty rooms in the renovated building.

He praised UHE as an exemplary institution in Punjab and emphasized the need to expand home economics education throughout the province. He also shared that CM Punjab will soon launch a mega scholarship program for university students which will include a special package to support the education of girls.

Prof. Dr. Faleeha Zahra Kazmi highlighted the modern facilities being provided to intermediate students and announced that BS Home Economics classes will also be conducted in the renovated building.

During the ceremony, the Minister of Education distributed the joggers to x-class employees which are donated by the university.
